Jacob Parks

Jacob serves as the Contemporary Worship Leader for The Oaks Church. He has served with The Oaks for 3 years. With over 10 years of experience in worship ministry, Jacob brings a deep passion for connecting others to God with authentic worship through music. His love for music began at a young age — learning piano at 3 years old and being involved in his church’s choir. Raised in Frisco, Texas, he was a member at Stonebriar Community Church for most of his life, where his call to ministry began. In middle school, at the age of 13, he started to get involved with his school’s worship team where he played drums, guitar, and piano until he graduated. Following high school he attended Ouachita Baptist University for a year where he joined Ouachita Worship. Although his time in Arkansas was short, he was blessed to intern at First Baptist Church Arkadelphia, First Baptist Church Benton, and First Baptist Church Hot Springs, as a worship drummer and guitarist. Jacob transferred to Dallas Baptist University in 2023 where he is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in Christian Ministries.
