The Oaks has an exciting student ministry called Rooted led by Austin Surina.
We meet every Wednesday during the evening Bible study semester at 6:30pm for our main gathering in the Attic. This is the time where we go through our topical messages answering questions and talking about pressing issues, according to God’s Word, that teens deal with today. This is also the time where students can come and get to know one another through games and activities. We believe in the community of believers, and that no one should walk through life alone.
We also meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00am in the Attic. This is a time where we are going through the Bible exegetically (book by book). The study we are doing is called the Gospel Project and it takes us through the entire bible in three years. Sunday mornings are also when we break up into smaller groups. In these groups students get a more personal talk with our leaders, as well as a chance to seek out accountability from other believers in their walk with Christ.
