Lilah Mathews

Originally from Arlington, Texas, Lilah’s family moved to Nashville in 2012, but she returned to the Dallas area to attend DBU. Coming from a strong ministry background as the daughter and granddaughter of Baptist pastors, Lilah has been deeply rooted in church life from an early age. She excepted Christ at the age of 9 and committed her life to serving the church in high-school. Lilah has served faithfully in work with children as a camp counselor at Camp Thurman in Pantego, Texas. She has also served in children’s ministry since her freshman year of high school.
Lilah has a heart for the Lord and a passion for reaching and discipling children. Her spiritual gifts include teaching, mercy, and administration, and she brings fresh ideas and vision to the ministry.
Lilah is a joy to serve alongside and is excited to continue sharing the love of Christ with children and their families!
